Taking the vision of the new National Education Policy (NEP) as envisioned under the dynamic
leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, the Government of India has developed the National Credit Framework (NCrF) to enable the integration of academic and vocational domains to ensure flexibility and mobility between the two. NCrF would be a game changer by opening numerous options for further progression of students and inter-mingling of school and higher education with vocational education and experiential learning, thus mainstreaming skilling and vocational education. NCrF will also enable students who have dropped out of mainstream education to re-enter the education ecosystem.

NCrF will seamlessly integrate the credits earned through school education, higher education, and
vocational and skill education by encompassing the National Higher Education Qualification Framework (NHEQF), National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and National School Education Qualification Framework (NSEQF). It also supports educational acceleration for students with gifted learning abilities and Recognition of Prior Learning for the workforce that has acquired knowledge and skills informally through the traditional family inheritance, work experience or other methods. The inclusive umbrella framework aims to make the options for Multiple Entry-Multiple Exit accessible and applicable across higher education, school education and vocational education, allowing students to choose their own learning trajectories and programmes.

The framework has been jointly developed by a committee constituted by the Government with members from UGC, AICTE, NCVET, NIOS, CBSE, NCERT, Department of School Education and Literacy & Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, DGT, and Ministry of Skill Development under the guidance of Union Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

The Government is inviting comments and observations by the 30th of November on the document
which is available in the link below for download.

Formative assessments , tests, projects, models, viva should be backed by grades in report card.this will reduce stress laid on students to learn for exams. 25 Mark's, two chapters every month should be taken or 10 marks test of 1 chapter every week should be taken.this will help child to focus on one chapter if the test is if 1 or chapters a week as he or she can read thoroughly rather than haphazardly going through ten chapters during exams. All I request is to justify the term- Evaluation for betterment of child rather than punishment imposed via 80 marks or 100 Mark's assessment .

Children should not be promoted in secondary school ( Vth std) without mastering basic chores- personal & community hygiene. They should know basics of cleaning,, cooking, washing, ironing, gardening so that it becomes 2nd nature ,Habit by default. Emphasis on RRR ( reading writing arithmetic ) Mantra chanting . observation & communication skills, , gratefulness to nature. How it works to feed the stomach. upkeep of gadgets, phone, laptops , computer etc. rote learning, sports, public speaking. How to think differently ,generate new ideas science experiments. It is a shame that children r ridiculed 4 new ways of doing things even parents , Later become fashion trend- example, boys combing hair on left side ( normally done on right ) . Folding clothes. trousers /shirts in different manner - chopping vegetables in different shapes cooking style. Now even airlines serving hot water & rice/noodles/poha & keep it for 5 minutes.at home dictat u can only do water+rice together etc.
