The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MSJE), in collaboration with MyGov, invites comments and suggestions ...
विकलांग दिव्यांग जनों के लिए special disabled Ration card and Lion canteen card बनाना चाहिए।
ताकि उन्हें सभी दैनिक जरूरत का सामान कम कीमत पर आसानी से उपलब्ध हो सके।
1.All forms of disabilities, visual, auditory, mobility, and even cognitive should be embraced by the standards.
2.Accessibility should be an integral part of the design stage there should be no consideration of design as an afterthought.
3.Accessibility processes for features should be tested, and such processes should not be costly for small and medium manufactures.
4.Access compliance certification should be embraced as a voluntary program to motivate further compliance.
5.Offer incentives such as Tax benefits and recognition awards, for companies that go beyond the minimum accessibility requirements.
6.Launch awareness campaigns that show the business benefits of accessible products.
7.Make sure the standards match global norms, like ISO standards and WCAG for digital components, so Indian products can compete in global markets.
8. Create a plan for regular reviews of the standards based on user feedback and new technology.
Thank you

Provide incentives and phased implementation for SMEs.
Establish independent audits and grievance redressal mechanisms.
Train designers and manufacturers on accessibility standards.
Review and update standards periodically.
