This is the right move towards a much prosper future of the nation. It's time to include Yoga part of school curriculum.Compulsory?.This is another issue, since India is a secular country which has fundamental rights of Freedom,Cultural and educational rights,,compelling it to be part of activities in schools may harm harmony. This should not be a sensitive issue.Awareness of positives of Yoga must be known to people and the choice should vest in them to choose or not to choose for a better future.

When I was in school we used to have compulsory PT during assembly. We even have sports. Why can't we start yoga in all schools as a compulsory curriculum. It is as much needed as learning abc.. or math. When we talk about education for all, yoga should be included. It is better to start at the grassroots level to ensure that the coming generations are better. For this we need to start by teaching the teachers in the schools to first learn yoga and then train children.
