Viable solutions- 1- Government alone can’t do it unless citizens and especially those who live in basin participate. 2- Today's deteriorating health of The Gangas is a collective failure. Hence to address it, these measures can be helpful. This is a small list, much can be added.

Government should give priority to pollution.In the case of rivers there should not be pollution control but No pollution.Industries are also necessary but Sewage treatment should be Govt responsibility.We can not expect the businessman who is doing business for profit to be serious about river pollution.Free power should be given to STP and sewage treatment should be given the same priority as health and primary education.By that type of immediate measures we can save Ganga and dying rivers .

Very simple solution to save Ganga is given in few lines- The major cause of river pollution is industrial untreated effluent ,the naked truth is that most of the industries flow untreated/partially treated effluent in the drains which reach in the river either directly or indirectly through seepage. Government should takeover all the STP or construct the STP as required .The operation & maintenance of STP should be done by Govt.with responsibility of D.M.s.Free power to STP's.STP =health/edu et

Publish report card on the improvement achieved vis a vis the target set. Publicize the rules regarding cleanliness, penalties for violation, and mechanism to lodge complaints. Also publicize the identities of the violators along with the penalty imposed.

धार्मिक अन्धविस्वाश का दोहरा चरित्र : हरिद्वार से ऋषिकेश में गंगा धाराओ से सटी २२ प्रसिद्द अखाड़ों में से १८ अखाड़ों का कचड़ा (मल ) गंगा में ही बहाया जाता हैं, केवल ४ अखाड़ों के पास ही वाटर ट्रीटमेंट की व्यवस्था हैं. ऐसे धार्मिक कुरूतियों से कैसे गंगा स्वक्स्छ हो. पहले तो इन धार्मिक लोगो पर नकेल कैसे टक्की औरो को उदाहरण मिले की हर हाल में गंगा को स्वच्छ रखना हैं.

धार्मिक बाध्यता : मेरे गृह निवास सैदपुर के नजदीक माननीय केंद्रीय मंत्री कलराज मिश्रा जी का गृह जनपद हैं जो माननीय रेल राज्य मंत्री मनोज सिन्हा जी का संसदीय क्षेत्र भी. वंहा के ३६ भ्रह्मन् गावों में कोई मृत्यु होती हैं तो धार्मिक बाध्यता के कारन लाश को गंगा जल प्रवाह दिया जाता हैं आज भी, कुछ दिन पहले बीजेपी के क्षेत्रीय नेता चन्द्रिका पाण्डेय की मृत्यु पर सांसद चंदौली ने बीजेपी के झंडे में लपेटकर मृत आत्मा के शांति के लिए तो कामना की परन्तु जलप्रवाह पर वंहा के सभी राजनितिक सुरमा चुप रहे.

government should give the responsibility of clean and maintain the ganga to the corporate with their interption & hard regulation because they will better to know about how to treated labours further also they can give the some part of ganga to differant valuable companys for maintain and cleaning purpose as act CSR(CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY).

For instance few philosophical question may sound the same to many as philanthropic……. rises which has got to do with the Planet , Ideology Now what contribution in it is bringing the frequency match to work on further on any project with winning value creation for them and thru’ them to others What we call it Service to the Society or Service to us , it’s both after all it’s a closed system

when you want to clean first one should find a place to burn or dispose the garbage. Cleaning is easy because we have lots of people who is prepared to come and do service. It can be done in turns and we need some instrument to do it, food and water for service people to be given. So find a place to dump the garbage, the rest is calling people to serve to clean ganges.
