During this month's 'Mann Ki Baat' programme the Prime Minister will share his 'Mann Ki Baat' with youngsters appearing for the various board examinations and competitive exams.

The Prime Minister invites all of you, particularly students, parents and teachers to share their experiences about examinations be it preparing for examinations, the role of parents and teachers in the run up to the examinations.

Please also share memorable exam anecdotes that have left a lasting impression in your minds.

Some of the inputs received will be compiled in the form of an e-book that will become a friend to all youngsters taking these board and competitive exams.

Today many competitive examination cost is more than Rs 1000 which is very difficult to pay for a person from humble background, with a standardised examination system and examination center approach same can be brought under Rs. 200 per candidate and who knows may be below Rs.100. This will really help comman candidate achieve his/her dreams.

The biggest challange faced today by any examination conducting agency is the selection of neutral & convinient Examination Center for conduct of free and fair examination. My humble request is to standardise the examination center accross the country, so as to get genuine results. Once it is established there will be no requirement for multiple entrance examination, selection test etc. Only need will be to impart various Skills and test skills on a standard platform by various agencies to rate a candidate.

Education and Health services are now business no 01 . Majority of politician have either Recognized college or School. Parent's hard earn money going for tution fees to them and now another Coaching institute's business. Baat ho ti rahengi par koi change nahi hoga. Kyonki Govt. college in all stream seats are less than appearing students in 12th standard. For each one seat more than 100 enrollments . Policy - if students scored less than 50% should join skill work will be the best solution.

Please ask the PM to talk about 'Water'. March 22nd is World Water Day hence the timing is appropriate. Our life, livelihoods, fun, health and environmental well being all depends on Water. Water crisis is the biggest crisis we face today. He must not just talk about conserving Water but about 'RESPECT' for Water as a life giving gift of God. Water is a life giver, a teacher - if you watch it, it can teach you how to live life. If we learn to Respect Water, we will learn to care for it too.

Honourable Prime Minster Mr. Narendra Modi, I am a college student, I have spent just 13 years in academic field but still want to share my "mann ki baat" that there is something very wrong with the education system. We study just to score marks. No one would deny that. I quote one of my friend, "Education should come from within, but it is IMPOSED". System should be designed is a way that it comes from within. I read the chapters which my father did. More of new & practical concepts are req.

Most of the examinations are Online but there is no standardisation of Examination Centers which leads to problem in conduct of fair examination. I propose to have atleast one examination Centre of 100 Seats in each districts and a candidate can walk-in and take examination of choice without waiting for the whole year.

For the Mann Ki Baat on examinations, all national and state boards and competitive examinations can have a portal on the lines of the Harvard Open Online Learning Initative with podcasts and lectures to fully interactive courses and programs. Online modules and mock tests for written exams with study material, tutorials, training, tips, questions, answer keys and solved papers by experienced teachers will go a long way in improving the standard of education at all levels.

Most of children today join private couching classes for board exams as well as competitive exams. As a first step, if the Government can think of a joint venture with these private couching classes whereby needy and deserving students also get access to these couching classes, which generally impart good quality knowledge. Incentives can be given to couching classes by providing government school premises at nominal cost and in turn they should enroll certain needy students for free.
