During this month's 'Mann Ki Baat' programme the Prime Minister will share his 'Mann Ki Baat' with youngsters appearing for the various board examinations and competitive exams.

The Prime Minister invites all of you, particularly students, parents and teachers to share their experiences about examinations be it preparing for examinations, the role of parents and teachers in the run up to the examinations.

Please also share memorable exam anecdotes that have left a lasting impression in your minds.

Some of the inputs received will be compiled in the form of an e-book that will become a friend to all youngsters taking these board and competitive exams.

Best wishes to all the examinees. Being a teacher I would like to suggest the students to read and write a number of times so as to increase their confidence and reduce exam fever.

Hon PM I m a Mechanical Engg. Everyone asks me why as a girl I didn't opted something "easier" my answer to them is It's my choice that I opted for it. Sir when I was in college my lecturers used to tell me don't do this you are a girl don't do that you are a girl. The point is even today educated people are doing this discrimination & no one questions. As you talk about women empowerment I suggest that there should be classes for such people in schools & colleges to respect women capability.

Sir, in CBSE Board Exam Timetable (Std 12), Biotechnology (Code 045) students this year are under lot of stress. 3 very important subjects are scheduled in 4 days (Physics- 9th, Biotech- 10th & Chem- 12th March 2015). Earlier, 2-3 days gap were given to study for each subject. I have emailed to all CBSE higher authorities TO SHIFT BIOTECH EXAM FROM 10th MARCH to 4TH MARCH -but there was no response. Also CBSE helpline for students/parents is unavailable. Please arrange to amend as requested.

Sir, I am a CA student. I would want you to talk about 2 things. 1) The importance of Yoga in enhancement of memory & concentration among students. 2) Parents/teachers should not put too much pressure on students by their high expectations, especially when they are comparing their kids with other peers. They should encourage kids to handle every exams with a calm mind.

Hon PM I want to state that today's generation is going under a huge pressure of competition, they have to manage between school & coaching & in all this they are getting away from a normal happy life. The point I want to make that sir today every student is behaving like life is a race. I think the main focus should be on skill rather than "RATTAFICATION". From my point of view there should be focus on "Skill Development & Quality Education" rather than running around coaching classes .

Narendra bhaai i am basically from Surat, Gujarat and settled here in Pune. I have pure suggestion that for jobs and placements remove agent system,youth power will be with you forever and will co operate more and more. But I am suspicious about your people.

I an MCA in 2010 but my family responsibilities i was not able to give good time for job search in IT cities, i belongs place where IT industry not establish, and today i am suffering. Reason it there is problem for students non-uniform geographical job opportunities, So problem job traffic moves toward one area according to geographical circumstances. So some students compromise for family responsibilities, Family & Job-place today are two sides of a Coin. please Focus on this.?? Please read it

Dear Sir, I am from Gujarat and would like to inform that scholarship methods are little bit lengthy and that's the reason why ordinary parents can't reach it. Though, if they pass through all the formalities they are not getting even a single response from government. There are several suggestions on how to prepare for various competitive exams. But it is also important to emphasize, that these exams are not the end of the road. Undue pressure and expectations should not demoralize or depress the youth, which is our demographic advantage. We should celebrate success, but not bemoan failure - India is offering multiple opportunities. If one thing doesn,t work, it is important to communicate that there are other options. Let exams be a motivation, not a burden.
