भारत विश्व की सबसे पुरानी सभ्यता का देश है, जिसमें अनेक धर्मों एवं संस्कृतियों का समावेश है परन्तु भारतीय समाज में अभी भी बहुत से ऐसे मेले, पर्व एवं रीति रिवाज हैं जिनसे वर्तमान समाज व पीढ़ी अनभिज्ञ है, इसी क्रम में मैं आपका ध्यान एक ऐसे पर्व की ओर आकर्षित करना चाहूँगी जो उस समय का अविस्मरणीय क्षण था परन्तु वर्तमान समय में इसकी छवि धूमिल हो चुकी है, योगेश्वर भगवान श्रीकृष्ण को देश-विदेश में सभी जानते हैं उन्हीं की जन्म स्थली पावन मथुरा नगरी (उ0प्र0) में कंस वध लीला का आयोजन भी वर्षों से किया जा रहा है इसे कार्तिक मास में दशमी को मनाया जाता है क्यों कि इसी दिन भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने अत्याचारी कंस का वध किया था, जिसे बृज क्षेत्र में चार दिनों तक मनाया जाता है। मेरा अनुरोध है कि जिस तरह रावण वध के प्रसंग को समूचा देश दशहरा के रूप में जानता है उसी तरह श्री कृष्ण के द्वारा कंस वध को भी देशवासी विस्तार से जान पायें, जिसके लियेे प्रशासन एवं सरकार को विभिन्न प्रयास जैसे कि विद्यालय की शिक्षा में शामिल करना, सम्बन्धित विषय पर प्रश्नोत्तरी स्पर्धा आदि का आयोजन समयानुसार करते रहना चाहिये।

हमें अपने देश के कम मशहूर मेलों, त्योहारों और संस्कृति को नयी पहचान देने के लिए मीडिया काफी योगदान दे सकता है। और युवाओं को चाहिए कि वो इसके लिए सोशल मीडिया का सहारा लें।

We should encourage regional movies so that people from there can present their part of Indian culture or festivals celebrated. Sir , when our people have liking and attraction for foreign culture and lifestyle i feel no point in having discussion. My son goes to Edify School, Chikkabanavara. I feel ashamed to share that though local language is kannada, the school is offering French/Spanish as 3rd language option. Second language option being Hindi/Kannada. So our people are willing to accept a foreign language but are not ready to accept the local language even though the state has provided opportunities to outsiders. I feel this act is condemnable. Government should take the decision of making local language compulsory in schools. This way we will respect the concept of unity in diversity.
