The India Newborn Action Plan (INAP) was launched by Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Harsh Vardhan on 18th September, 2014 in New Delhi. It outlines a targeted strategy for accelerating the reduction of preventable newborn deaths and stillbirths in the country. INAP defines the latest evidence on effective interventions which will not only help in reducing the burden of stillbirths and neonatal mortality, but also maternal deaths. With clearly marked timelines for implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and scaling-up of proposed interventions, it is expected that all stakeholders working towards improving newborn health in India will stridently work towards attainment of the goals of “Single Digit NMR by 2030” and “Single Digit SBR by 2030.”The INAP will be implemented within the existing RMNCH+A framework, and guided by the principles of Integration, Equity, Gender, Quality of Care, Convergence, Accountability, and Partnerships. Its strength is built on its six pillars of intervention packages, impacting stillbirths and newborn health. For effective implementation, a systematic plan for monitoring and evaluation has been developed with a list of dashboard indicators.

Hi Sir, I know BJP Govt is taking lots of steps to improve lots of things. But I find solution of every problem in controlling population. IRCTC Ticket Booking Problem - Population. Job - Population. Crime - Population. I think We should bring a law to control population. No couple should be allowed to have more than 2 babies, If they do They should be taken away from all benifits that govt gives. There should be strong law to control population.

My idea is regarding harnessing true potential of Digital India by providing following services in form of android apps as android phones prices have come down to as low as Rs.2000/- and india have very high mobile phone density- 1.BANKING SERVICES-as the major problem for banks is the high cost for setting up of bank premise and staffing in rural areas.Online banking can today provide all the banking services and only cost would be to set up ATMs and Security personnel. cont.

Hi Sir, First of all thanks a lot for liking and sharing my experience in 'Man ki Baat'. Sir, I also want to thanks you for "Your positive attitude for citizen's letters". I personally experienced that citizens of India start thinking that they are not alone anymore. They want to share their thoughts with you in the same way they share with their parents or friends. Sir, again lot thanks for leading this country in the path of success and growth.

We need to increase our entertainment sources as in US so that people & particularly children are engaged in healthy activities instead of drugs, porn etc.Like govt. organised festival celebrations, more sports programs in schools, colleges & at national level, every sport like soccer, sky diving, scuba diving etc.Ever wondered why everyone wants to go to USA?Not because it's a superpower but because of entertainment there from wrestling to car racing.Hope to see India a global entertainment hub!

Youth and children are addicted to products like dendrite in large numbers at my city Guwahati, it is common to see young children having dirty cloth laced with dendrite in their hands at Guwahati railway station and nearby areas. Why they are addicted at such a young age Can anyone concerned with this issue share their views, how can we help these children to leave the bad habit and lead a healthy and safe life.

Basic problem with drug menace in India is the nexus between drug mafia and police...police reforms are necessary to cut the supply of drugs to teenagers..effective anti drugs law and awareness programs at primary school level..
