As the Indian population continues to grow there will be an immense competition for natural resources while achieving food, nutritional, environmental and livelihood security in the country. In addition, the negative consequences of climate change become more evident in agriculture with exploitation of natural resources, decline in soil fertility, ground water levels to meet the ever increasing demands for food and nutritional requirements. To maintain sustainable balance between natural resources and the demand, immediate attention is needed in several areas viz., imbalanced use of fertilizers, declining soil organic carbon, lowering of water table, soil health, organic farming and climate change impact in agriculture sector.

Recent studies on soil biodiversity, rapid composting techniques, use of bio-filters for removal of heavy metals from compost, application of Nano sensors in agriculture to improve nutrient use efficiency, need based fortification of micro nutrients; availability of soil health card, conservation agriculture for enhancing soil health etc. will support sustainable management of natural resources in agriculture.

With a particular focus on scientific and technical understanding of natural resources management, this portal tries to incorporate stakeholders suggestions in achieving sustainable natural resources management.

As first a lot of people visits hotels, malls for different purposes but if we observe that a lot of people also uses tissue papers for minor purpose . Instead of tissue paper while taking the breakfast , Dinner , Lunch we can use our handkerchief before or after for drying purpose ...in this way can minimize the environmental load ....

The first thing that we need to do is to clean our air. In order to do this we need to improve our public transport system. In cities like Mumbai and Pune, small buses with auto transmission and running on CNG or LPG would be the first step. Another step we can take is eliminate traffic hold ups at Toll Booths. In addition to this, vehicles used by MP's and MLA's during their visits should be limited. Why do these people need 15-20 Vehicles in their fleet?

GOVT CAN BUILD SMART CITIES BY PROVIDING FREE HOUSING TO THE POOR AND JOBLESS TO SUPPORT THE BUILDING OF BIGGEST SOLAR POWER PLANTS AND PROVIDE THEM WITH THE JOBS AND USE THE MNREGA MONEY TO SUPPORT THEM. THAT WAY SMART CITIES CAN BE BUILD AND OUR ECONOMY CAN GROW. INDIA WILL HAVE TO CONCENTRATE OF EXPORTING OF SOLAR PANELS TO COUNTRIES LIKE CANADA ( AS MANUFACTURING IN INDIA WILL BE MUCH CHEAPER THAN TO MAKE HERE).
