The issue of making sports as integral part of our children's growth process there r so many things that Parents n policymakes need to do. There r instances where the sports facility made by government is leased to private organisation n general public n sports persons r stopped frm using those facilities. My daughter n her friends r victims of such change. If sports is nt given any important n the sports complexes r misused then how is our country going to produce sportsman. People like u n me

There can be a three pillared approach to this- 1) Invite corporates/individuals to adopt part of the premises e.g. gymnasium, athletics equipments, landscaping, gymnastic equipment, other maintenances etc. 2) Some facilities like swimming, Judo, Tennis should be open to public and players/coaches can train the public and participate in revenue generation 3) There is a big library and museum. Museum should be promoted for visits for a fee & library be taken online for membership fee revenue.

Each sports recruitment ,training, funding and their target participate in international events should be compulsorily allotted 3 corporate houses in India, who have anuual turnover of more than 20,000 crores... Corporate houses have good experience and expertise for training and handling the people. They can easily shell out the money for spirtst. They will have to focus on only one sports allotted to them. Corporate house will gain publicity in when they win locally or international.

My daughter is a National Level in cross country walking at her school. At college she was declared as 3rd position and still she gained entry in to University level meet wherein she was declared as 5th position. When asked as to why she was not No 1 - "Appa...the organizers allow all to run for walking race..I alone walked". The complaint sent with video evidence to authorities yielded no response. Why country spends for stadium just to award people with dubious distinction?

Going for Corporate or Govt sponsors for any big sporty things leads only to succumbing to their compulsions. Generating healthy competitive environment at every level and seamless integration across all levels can work magic. Undue patronage for sports is what ailing sports and so present scheme of sports quota has to be discontinued. A just pass with international medal getting facilitated to become a doctor is as idiotic as a State topper by academic merit facilitated with Olympic track medal

Building stadiums is fine but it is essential to have community specific PPP funded recreation centers. The centers should provide the general public with basic facilities such as a gym, swimming pools, racket sports and other training facilities important to build interest, strength and a capacity to build a a stronger mindset to perform at an Olympic level at a later stage.

Increasing Olympic medal tally : Students in rural area have tremendous talent & potential for sports but lack proper coaching & diet. Selecting rural talent in golden age of 9 to 13 & establishing Residential Sports School for them, where they continue schooling, get proper diet & coaching & opportunities to participate in competitions, is very essential. Local bodies like Dist Panchayats can be funded for this. Successful eg is a Residential Sports School run by Kolhapur Zilla Parishad in MS.

I wish to write for kind attn of the GOVT that regularization of all colonies as a special case be done once for ever, should be country wide, thereafter should be stopped effectively so that people do not take things for granted and political parties do not draw mileage for winning elections. All officials not locating unauthorized constr in there areas should be punished with exemplary punishment which would deter the future constr in unauthorized manner.Disciplined public should get incentive

By 0810 on 22.02.15 train 12975 Mysore Jaipur & 22631 Chennai Central Bikaner for travel on 24.04.15 was full - how come? Same thing from Ajmer Jn to Mumbai central all trains.? Congress regime was much better. How about charging premiums on Tatkal tickets - sleeper class tickets sold much higher than AC class ? World oil prices came to 50% it did not match in India - why ? All TV channels one day prior and one day after match continued Cricket - how sad ? Do you expect GDP growth and how much?
