HEALTHY INDIA-A Healthy mind brings a healthy body and a healthy mind and body bring a Healthy India. In our country, the ministers and the beaurecrats selected to serve India, are the most corrupt and doing the damage. If these are controlled and taught a lesson, the rest will automatically reform themselves. Just see the father slapping the eldest son will automatically make other children take their books and start studying. We must take steps to stop this.

Hey Guys, I want to share something on Goverment Hospitals and their facilities. I understand the modernisation of Urban Area hospitals. but what about the Rural areas even less urban areas. We still lag behind the medical facilities like MRI and other Major test. In this case we use private labs and they charged so much amount as compare to Government prices. Can we make a authorised body who control these private labs if government facilities are not available.

The health care delivery system should be managed and funded by one Central Government through out the nation. I have worked in the World's best health system- the National Health Service of United Kingdom for 6 years and realized the importance of having one uniform health care delvery system across the nation . NHS was established to provide comprehensive health and rehabilitation services for prevention and cure of disease. Central government should set uniform guidelines for all states.

Age-old herbal preparations like Chyavan-prash are effective immune boosters. Infective viral diseases like influenza, common cold and coughs can be effectively treated with these preparations at nominal cost. Besides, prevention is also possible. But these preparations need to be prepared by the traditional method in order to be effective. Machine made products should be labelled as such, as also the hand-made ones. Huge employment avenues can be opened up if these were mandatorily hand-made.

health education is crucial for India which is seeing prosperity for the first time. Do we know that for the first time our parents are healthier than us. Diabetes and obesity is common now because we are not realising the need for healthy diet and exercise. In a way we all are paying the penalty for our prosperity
