Draft guidelines for Skills Universities are formulated by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in consultation with multiple stakeholders including Skills Universities. These are placed on the MSDE website for comments/ feedback.

Comments and suggestions may be sent at paritosh.gupta95@nic.in or submitted on MyGov.in by 21st October 2018.

National Policy for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship 2015 emphasized the importance of Skills Universities to be promoted either as de-novo institutions or as a part of existing university landscape. Further, in the wake of Skill India Mission, a number of universities with the nomenclature of “Skills Universities” have come up. However, they are following different norms and varying nomenclature for the degrees awarded, in the absence of common standards in the skills arena.

Skills based education differs from its general counterpart in terms of curriculum, pedagogy, faculty, mode of delivery, eligibility and assessment criteria, etc. and thus, would require a separate set of norms. The purpose of these guidelines is to lay down minimum norms for the establishment and functioning of Skills Universities to ensure adherence to minimum standards as India ventures into these new skilling avenues.

These guidelines do not intend to supersede the extant UGC norms regarding the regulation of higher education in India.

#Mygov skill University का मुख्य उद्देश्य हर उस स्थान व जगह पर ऐसे लोगों की तलाश करनी हो जहां लोगों में हुनर की कमी नहीं है परंतु मार्गदर्शन नहीं मिलता है नहीं मिल पाता है व स्किल यूनिवर्सिटी को शुरू करने से पहले सरकार को उन सभी पहलू को ध्यान में रखना होगा जिससे स्किल यूनिवर्सिटी सिर्फ एक खानापूर्ति का स्थान और सिर्फ डिग्री देने की मशीन ना बन कर रह जाए

Universities are based on credits for courses taken in any discipline of study.Skills are always in addition to learning the subjects in the universities.We have to think about educating people on the one hand and skills training on the other.For skills training we should consider community colleges which are very well suited for skills training. We should have internship programs for students to apply what they have learned. Education should be continuous for everybody so that people upgrade.

किसान की फसल बहुत अधिक हानि हो रही है अब किसान रात भर जाग कर फसल की रखवाली करता है या तार बन्दी करवा रहा है जिसकी वजह से लागत और बढ़ रही है। प्रदेश सरकार के कारण हमारे प्रधानमंत्री जी की छवि किसानो के बीच में धूमिल हो रही है इसमें सुधार की आवश्यकता है। किसान आधारित उद्योग लगाने के लिए अभी स्थित यह है कि अलग अलग विभागों में भिन्न भिन्न प्रोजेक्ट हैं जब की होना यह चाहिए कि सभी प्रोजेक्ट की फाइल एक कृषि विभाग के प्रावधिक वर्कर से होते हुए बैंक तक जानी चाहिए तथा जो किसान स्किल डेवलपमेंट प्रोग्राम के

The idea of skills universities doesn't sound right.You can have community colleges that impart skills training to people in every district of India as is being done in developed countries.If you think of a university then it must be about teaching all subjects that are available today.We can think of having a university in every district along with community colleges which together can provide people with multidisciplinary learning and skills for the job market.

इस प्रकार के विश्वविद्यालय उन शहरो एवम् क्षेत्रों में खोलना चाहिए जहाँ आर्थिक पिछड़ापन, गरीबी,बेरोजगारी ज्यादा है। लेकिन इन विद्यालयो में कौशल विकास प्रशिक्षण इस तरह की होनी चाहिए जिससे विद्यार्थी को रोजगार मिलने में आसानी हो जाये। प्रशिक्षण के स्तर की गुणवत्ता इन पाठ्यक्रमो में ऐसी होनी चाहिए की विद्यार्थी रोजगार के लिए कही भी जाये तो उधमी उनका चयन करने में कोई संकोच न करे। पाठ्यक्रम की गुणवत्ता उच्च स्तर की होनी चाहिए कि सारा समाज बोले कि वहां का पढ़ा हुआ कभी बेरोजगार नहीं रहता है। जय भारत
