Sir,the recently proposed amendment to MTP act which allows non mbbs doctors to prescribe MTP pills can prove dangerous.it needs lots of skill in selecting eligible patient,and the dose.being a gynaecologist I can foresee the complications ,which can cause mortality as well as morbidity and even congenital malformations in case pt selection is not proper.since MTP is not an emergency pt can always travel to a nearest qualified allopathy doctor to avoid complications.
