Disabled persons are not only disabled from body but their mental condition and their inferiority complex (which they acquire in passing time, not by choice but by force)are the main hurdle for their growth. Education is the only way by which government can make them confident to face the challenges of life. I know there are some government policies at lower level for the education of these people but there is either nothing or very less care has been given for the higher education.

Disable should not consider themselves as a burden to the country. Govt already having scheme for recruitment through quota. Concern ministry may get feed back in March of every year from each Govt/semi Govt about filling up the vacancies. Private sectors may also be requested to utilize them and encourage such organization through Income tax benefit if such people are engaged. Jobs for both educated/uneducated can be created once they trained once selected.

Disabled require very special methods of teaching. They're forfeited a lot by the use of different individual methods, materials ,play activities games, projects, etc. The teacher should have a great deal of patience. He should never consider them as failures. rather he should always encourage the students so that so that they will have self confidence which is very vital.CClasses must be very muchinteresting. They will also be encouraged to participate in different cocurriculum activities .

The first step towards inclusive culture - speciacially able persons to simply the procedure of getting the disability certificate from government agencies. PMO should take this matter with utmost urgency and work out a mechanism with PPP model to assist the parents and the persons - specially abled in getting the ducuments within a specified time frame. The private and govt agencies also need to review the minimum quota of employing people-special abled.

As a special educator and a professionals in the field of rehabilitation and special education I think there should have adequate special educators, teaching learning materials, resource unite in every school. so I hope new education policy should include this all aspects. Our special child will be valuable human resource if we can impart education to them.
