Sustainable Exploitation of oil and gas potential of the North East region could be a harbinger of economic prosperity for the people of the region. Presently there seems to be a disconnect between the local communities and the Exploration and Production (E&P) operators in the region. This seems to be discouraging E&P activities in the region thereby reducing the number of takers for operations in the region. Although the Govt. of India has been taking several initiatives to promote E&P in the NER, it is essential to make the local communities an important stakeholder in the process.

Suggestions are invited from the public which could encourage people's participation in these activities.

First of all we need to be deregulate the petrol/petrolium product,make it possible to put on market based.Then it will bring the more compititers in the production and marketing of petrols of private org.This will simply put a pressure on org to sell/market petrol,which is available and minimum price policy with as compared to others.

indian Gov.tried to import Gas from Gulf and central Asian countries, Fully knowing that Pakistan would not cooperate and without Pakistan assitance, is not possible to import Natural from said nations wasting valuable time and money. We should try import natural Gas from Russia by pipeline via China or Japan/East Asian nations which is quite possible and can be finance by developed nations like Japan &EC. Other Asean countries , Australia, Phillipine will also be interested .

First off all state must obey the central government as well as central leadership,some state wanna to overtake the universal policy and want to make their own rule,which ruined the state must its no doubt.

The state gov should be allow to find the new oil fields in state directly with the oil exploration agencies of India or over globe. Adequate fund to be allocated by state gov plus central gov. The expectorated fields to be allowed to extract the oil and gas through mass action (same as for coal blocks) for private competencies. the oil and gas will be sold to the open globe market.

odisha main jo border gate sab hai sab me 4 se 5 ghante ka jam reheta uske chalte disel ke khapat gadi main bohot badh raha hai,samay ke bar badi bhi bahot ho raha hai.Mera gadkari ji aur dharmendra pradhan ji se anurodh hai ki is ke bare main kuch kare,un gate main dalal aur transport staff ka milibhagat se karobar chal raha hai,in border main breakfast,luch,tea time sab ka chutti reheta hai ise liye jam aur badh jata hai,please kuch kare

i feel on our roads if jam culture is finished we can save many millians litres of oil(petrol+diesel) our police should help more in removing jamms rather than challaning vehicles further the condition of our roads must be better for saving fuel

We need a proper timebound plan to reduce Petrol and Diesel usage (or atleast stop the increased usage). Electrification of railway lines should be prioratized to save on diesel and electric buses should replace the conventional diesel buses. Production of Electric cars and bikes should be incentivised to cut down on fuel consumption.

For development in petroleum and refining sectors..plz make sudden visit or inspection to ONGCL units of Assam, IOCL units of Assam, CIL units of Assam. Hon'ble PM Ji, you will be knowing whether Privatization is required or not. I witnessed myself how wastage of public money is going on in Sivasagar Units of ONGC. So, Sir, request you to privatise across the Sectors.

In petroleum sector Privatization is must. No work is going in PSUs companies. They are only wasting public money. We suggest to do random inspection by some third party arranged by ruling govt. LOts of public money, natural resources can be saved and utilized for country's development. Plz keep in mind lacs of highly educated, competent, unemployed youths are there in our country to handle any issue of man power or control strikes observed by PSUs employees ans Govt employees.

Also USA is storing crude oil right now in big storage units . Like wise we can do that too and we definitely need to upgrade our system for petroleum production and natural gas production . using new machinery or upgrading to automation system . and using better machinery to find crude oil in land
