Dirty water of cities fall in the Ganga water through drain (pipe) made by municipality and govt department at many many places along the Ganga river. If these pipes/drains can not be diverted to other directions then we will be unable to save the Ganga. At the same time, people should not throw garbages, dead animals and waste in the Ganga. Mere cleaning of surroundings will not save Ganga if we cannot divert pipes to some other directions because these are carrying dirty water continuously.

The government should empower local communities to identify and report areas of pollution. There should be governance mechanism which will improve the quality of water and improve the potential for tourism. This should be complemented by a star rating systems; one for the cleanliness and one for tourism and connectivity. There should be a standard minimum list of things to be done and data points monitored for each of the tier listings.

We should adopt mini solid waste management in every street which will ensure cleanliness. This will attract tourist which will ensure greater tourism. We should not allow any untreated water to enter into any river of our country. This can be achieved by preventing burning of waste in open places instead waste can be used for power generation i.e., Solid waste.

Simple way to clean ganga use aquatic plants for example 1 fairy moss 2 water hyacinth 3 waterpest 4 duckweeds 5 watersalad 6 floating fern this are the comen name of plants which can clean river, this plants are very efficient and they were used in cleaning of Israel "kishon river". This plants can be sold to people and made them to plant for non profitable amount

आदरणीय प्रधानमंत्री जी, गंगा व् अन्य नदियों को साफ़ करने से वातावरण शुद्ध होगा जंगल हरे भरे होगे खेती की पैदावार बढ़ेगी जीव जन्तुं तो उनको प्राकर्तिक वातावरण मिलेगा जिससे भारत की सुंदरता बढ़ जायेगी और इस सुंदरता को देखने पर्यटक आएंगे जिससे भारत को भी विदेशी मुद्रा की प्राप्ति होगी।

कुदरत की अनूठी देन हिन्द को , हिन्द में गंगा बहती है , गंगा के पानी में "अमृतधारा " रहती है , इस "अमृतधारा" को "प्रदूषित" ना होने दें , पूरी दुनिया यह कहती है ! कुदरत की ऐसी देन हिन्द को "गंगा " जिसके पानी में "अमृतधारा "बहती है , "अमृतधारा" पीने को पूरी दुनिया व्याकुल रहती है ! अमृत की इस धारा को प्रदूषित ना होने दें , पूरी दुनिया कहती है ! कुदरत की देन ऐसी हिन्द को , गंगा के पानी में अमृत धारा बहती है , पूरी दुनिया इसको पीने को व्याकुल रहती है !

respected sir, every indian citizen want that their holy river should b clean,& it can't be done without their participation. So, people should be encouraged for participation in clean ganga project,& the best way to do this by inviting students through internship in their vaccations,so that they will able to utillize their energy as well as time.

we should have solar operated water treatment plant in the cities connected to ganga river or any other river to bring the dwn the running cost of sewage treatement plant which will help in bring dwn the cost of treatment.

i also request clean ganga team of umabharti ji to kindly give a circular to all the industries not to put there wast water which is generally not treated. or put huge penalty in case any industry is putting waste water to river. Also let all the people of city corporation to have water treatment plant and use the water to irrigation only not to be put in river.
