When I used to walk through the narrow lanes of Varanasi, I used to see many foreign and Indian tourists walking around. There is a great potential to take over many dilapidated building and convert them to guest houses run by hoteliers. Govt. should take over such properties and modernize the interiors, keeping the outer design with no change. There should be comfortable lodges for staying at a reasonable price. You can make Varanasi like Venice.

The major part of waste in Ganga is daily religious articles among which most of items are insoluble in water and either floats or settled in bottom causing extreme danger to ecosystem,water pollution,toxic hazards for animals,birds and people bathing in faith. Self consciousness,separate water ways or channel that can be cleaned economically and inlesser scientific,separate water ways will extremely help in our CLEAN GANG MISSION particularly in big religious cities.

If we can do three things in stage 1 it will do 50% of the job. 1. Stop the nalas from being dumped into the Ganga - do what european countries do, process the nala water 2.
