Sir, We are destroying the nature, so it is my opinion that the power distributing companies have to charge extra/additional charges for using of air-conditioner i.e Rs. 200/- for each A.C. and minimum Rs.500/- for each DG set excluding its regular bill per month. actually their is provision that the people have to pay bill for using DG/power genset operated through diesel. Sir, according to me all the industries making direct effects on environment should have to pay extra bills.

Ask every government offices to use solar power, smilary insist workers in those offices to use solar power in their houses. Provide subsidy to them for purchasing solar panels and installing. Ask them to spread the same to their neighbors and friends

"DAYLIGHT SAVING"... Changing the office timings by an hour can help save a lot. Like in summer when the sun rises early ask the employees to come an hour before and in winter at the normal time. So in summer, there would be less use of energy consumed in cooling (morning is comparitively cooler than afternoons).

Dear Sir, All government buildings should use Solar energy and be distributed across the city rather than having it at one location, this will reduce inbound traffic and also reduce fuel consumption. All documents need to be digitized and uploaded in Cloud platform which can be accessed from any where like a Bank. There should be facility to have video call with Government officers to avoid traveling. Calendar of Government officer should be publicly available to make appointment like in Pvt.

Please ensure that all government buildings should have double layer glass to reduce the air conditioning load. I see that most of the government buildings have poor quality doors and windows and this is highly inefficient in air conditioned buildings.

I have been noticing and seeing one of the ATMs of SBI from past 6 months. But, till date, I have found it unserviceable every time I have tried using it. What was more annoying is - even after the machine being unserviceable all the time, the AC was still turned on. Its this a wastage of electricity? It is located in the Air Force Technical College, Jalahalli West, Bangalore, which is more saddening.

Many times Compound Street lights of GOVT Naval depo Mankhurd , Mumbai are kept ON upto 1030 AM in morning. This was noticed for GOVT Naval depo in Mankhurd Mumbai on 22-04-2015. Such wastage electricity should be avoided. This is noticed regularly.

I believe adoption and implementation of Green Building Concept should be done by all government bodies, this will automatically encourage private sector org. to go for it. Multiple benefits of the system will bring down costs and will conserve the environment. We can encourage town and country planning dep. to approve a building plan only if it is with green building concept along with Rain Water Harvesting systems, and for this written commitment should be taken from builders with timeline.
