In order to equip them to look after their needs, it is necessary to impart skills to them. Most of them are unskilled and this makes their rehabilitation in alternative occupations very challenging.

What are the ways in which beggars/ destitutes can be skilled and gainfully employed so that they do not return to begging?

Participants may share success stories, as they may be aware of.

Last date for sending your suggestions is 18th November, 2014.

lack of education is the main reason for begging and their mindset has become such that they never want to stop begging even for several generations, so to stop this, schools should be opened for beggars children, where the beggars need to send their children to schools before they go for begging and in this way at least we can educate beggars children giving good food and through them their parents behaviour can be changed and this might end the begging chain.

To be contd...... As they are very mobile towards opportunity rich places ,this is the the reason of increase in the number of uncovered persons . Then again intervene on these new entrants. STEP 5- Special care should be taken on that male members do not move towards any kinds of addiction and involve them in some income generating occupation .They are very good public communicators, this quality should be exploited.

Step 1 -Count them they are generally found in and around public places ex railway station, temples etc . This task should be performed by state level counting agency . STEP2 -Intervention of rehabilitation program specially focussed on children and women. STEP3 - Again count them after a stipulated time say 6 months . Observe whether there is increase in no. Of person covered under the scheme or is it decreasing. STEP 4- If decreasing then it is gd . If increasing then again intervene

beggars first have to be informed that there is also other way to earn money, and the best way to inform them is by putting hoardings in cities and towns to educate beggars about the effect of begging to their children, right now we have stop the beggars children to become beggars or else the chain will not end. so a pictorial representation of beggars children should be shown like the beggars children going begging in streets and an another beggar children going to school and becoming success.

what is effective? rehabilitation must be change of life not there place not beggars they r human beings change what we look at them move them to live as we live bring them all to one place teach them any 1skill and make them to work and sell make money and feed them so that gov work must not be like giving a fish daily but must teach them fishing how to catch a fish so that they live life long i bet u they will expertise in short time wht ever we make them learn 14-20crore r under 14years
