The dream of a Cyber Crime Free Bharat (India) represents a vision of a safe, secure, and digitally empowered nation where every citizen can use technology without fear of online fraud or data theft.

What is Cyber Crime?

Cyber crime refers to any illegal activity that involves computers, networks, or digital devices. It includes hacking, phishing, identity theft, online fraud, spreading viruses, cyberbullying, and misuse of social media. To address this growing threat, I am proposing the creation of a National Scam Intelligence & Response Grid (NSIRG) — a distributed, AI-driven infrastructure that unifies citizen reporting, fraud detection, and real-time coordination among enforcement agencies. This proposal outlines a scalable, category-based digital framework capable of identifying repeat offenders, correlating scam networks, and protecting every Indian using internet or telecom services. NSIRG aims to make India the first nation in the world to operationalize a national-level Digital Scam Filter Grid under the Digital India initiative, ensuring safety, trust, and resilience across our digital ecosystem.
