These days we are facing a serious crises of quality teachers in higher education. And I believe that People at work are not motivated enough for their job. just because they are not employed anywhere thats why they join teaching. This is not true in every case. But In private education sector every time people only think about the Govt teaching job. Most of his quality time is being consumed by searching job, Finding new admissions, etc.

Teacher is he who can immediately come down to the level of students transfer his soul to the student's soul and see through and understand through his mind such a teacher can really teach and none else.

Recruitment of teachers should also be made through deputation from other Central Govt.employees, who are having good qualifications and have passion to teach. There are so many intellectuals who can become teachers if they are given a chance to serve. After serving in other Central Govt. Deptts. for say 20/25 years, if they want to change their job and do something better for the sake of country in the field of education, they should be given a chance to join schools as teacher on deputation.

The system of not failing the students till class 8 is not good, should be removed only then the student will focus more on his studies. The students of Class 5 or 6 cannot read and write properly. Just to get enrolled students does not make sense. Through enrollment 100% literacy will not come. The standard of education is falling day by day.Students should be checked through test from class I itself and if they are unable to do well they should be failed in that class.System should be changed

Even fellowship schemes offered by UGC are for permanent teachers. Adhoc/Contractual teachers are getting salaries one-third of the permanent but they are not eligible for minor or major or any other fellowship schemes. If a contractual teacher gets a minor sanctioned from the UGC or any other project , then university will ofcourse think to retain that teacher but this distinction has to be first removed from high levels then only we can produce a better teacher and stop them from moving abroad

Teachers gave rise to many professions like doctors, engineers, architects, designers, leaders, advocates, etc. There is a huge difference in the salaries between contractual teachers and permanent teachers. So in order to retain a good teachers UGC must collect data from colleges for teachers who are continuously serving one institution for more than 5 or 10 yrs which proves their loyalty. They must be confirmed by further interviewing them and if possible exempt UGC Net in some special cases.

One who would like to enter into Teaching they must allowed to do certification course relevant to teaching. B.Ed., & M.Ed.,school teachers are under going ,in the Admission to the course itself Test,Interview,Marks may be finalized.Limited seats need to be given by Govt approved Institutions only.same way Lecturers who is interest ,Let them under go some Diploma course.CUT OFF MARK, ELIGIBILITY MARKS SHOULD BE SAME TO ALL COMMUNITIES ,NO COMPROMISE.why compromise in the quality of Education.?
