Teachers God for student have features like calm honest understand student talented etc. In my opnion if teacher have learning and enhancing knowledge capability of themself then they can also do the same for students . For this all teachers who enhance there knowledge by open universities while teaching students should be promoted. Proper checking by external authority of basic departments of education from peon to higher authority is neceessary , since they lead basic knowledge .

It should be possible for practicing professionals to easily give back to the education system by taking up teaching without the hassles of having a PhD that many universities insist on. This will also help bridge the glut of good teachers esp. ones with industry and real-life experience. There should in fact be a institutionalised process to facilitating this intake so that all are aware and the best make it through

today i saw an order by DEO Indore to remove 51 engineers teaching in CBSE schools for replacing with professionally qulafied teachers. DEO is right in spirit of RTE act but i wonder that engineers can teach in Engineering colleges but not in schools? It is hard to get the teachers with B Ed who can speak english in M P. After RTE , there is great prolification in B Ed colleges priinting degrees like the ones in enginering colleges. Degeneration in education system is complete and devastating as

Comment 2: Quality of Teacher Education in private colleges is another very significant issue. Many colleges are offering teaching degrees like B.Ed, D.Ed and M.Ed as not attending (as they call it) candidates. After getting admission, you don't need to attend classes (and even teaching practice which is very important part of the course) and just pay some extra money to the college and they welcome you to appear in the exams if you like. What quality teachers can you expect and get from them???

Comment 1: A very recent report by UNESCO ((UNESCO, 2015) states that "An education system is only as good as its teachers".First of all, a survey/research should be conducted on who want to be a teacher (interest, enthusiasm, career preference, position in society etc.) and who actually become a teacher (those who can't make it/pay for other professional courses or have no option left in life. And how to encourage Indian youth to make them interested in the profession.
