India is among 51 countries to sign the “Rome Declaration” on “Achieving Self-sufficiency in Safe Blood and blood products based voluntary non-remunerated donation”. Blood is an intrinsic requirement for health care and proper functioning of the health system. National AIDS Control Organization under Department of Health and Family Welfare has been primarily responsible for ensuring provision of safe blood for the country since 1992. National Blood Policy 2003 reiterates firmly the government’s commitment to provide safe and adequate quantity of blood, blood components and blood products.

However, in India, a needy patient or his relatives have to run from pillar to post in search of blood and the onus of procurement of blood still lies with the patient and not with the service provider.

Suggestions are invited on how to develop a nationally coordinated and well networked blood transfusion service in the country and reach 100% voluntary blood donation to enable us to meet the global goal of self sufficiency in blood and blood products.

It's been several decades after Independence, but awful that country and government has not established a genuine, credible regulatory body/council for Physiotherapists. At some point or the other, each one may have visited Physio for some reason, but the development of Physiotherapy in the eyes of the government is still lacking. A regulatory body must be established on amalgamated pattern of any foreign country. Council must have members from foreign countries as well to for unique development

I always felt that it is very important to have a healthy public behavior to create a healthy environment. Where to create a healthy public behavior, I would say look where the public mostly interact and that will be the roads of India. If you instill disciple on the public roads, I feel it will drastically change the way we all behave publicly and this will slowly propagate to other areas as well. And the key to that is having 'obeyable' Traffic signals. Don't put signs for the sake of it.

Why don’t we have any regulatory body in medical and education? I don’t know but we have a history to utilize the helplessness as a tool of earning money. Same is happening in these two sectors. We all know that medical and education are two things which are necessary in everyone’s life and we have made these two an opportunity to suppress the middle class people. Same education cost anything from 15 thousand to multiple lakhs in some big school. Same blood test can cost from 100 to 1000 rupees.

You want to fight against intemperance to be very frank its next to impossible, but you have a great opportunity to increase your revenue, just increase direct or indirect tax on such alchoholic or drugatic item and may be those who are not addicted will not go to this dark side. And may be shopkeeper will limit its purchase due to low sale or less margin. Please think about it.

POLICE and judicial reform is most important if BJP wants rule of law and justice for people of India. Direction were given by Supreme Court OF India in 2006. for police reforms and ordered to implement MODEL POLICE LAW. Most of state disobeying SC as they wants to control police to perpetuate their oppressive rule over citizen of free India, worst, than British rule. Crime rates are raising, women are raped ,democratic agitations launched by Anna Hajare ,Baba Ramdeo, defused by police force

export of bovine meet raised 17 % in recent months, please stop export of bovine meet, also stop export of cow beef. It is very disturbing to see in BJP raj cows and bovine are slathered and incentives are given by Govt.to export meet and beef. Stop killing of these innocent animals legally or illlegally

The 21st century has marked the beginning of a new era, receptive to eastern healthcare philosophy through positive attitudes. Epitomizing eastern philosophy for its concern to values related to health, Ayurveda is by and large considered to showcase traditional health care. India already passed 68th Independence Day, but the common features across the India are poverty, illiteracy, lack of good health and sanitation, unsecured diseases, early aging process, ignored in old age struggle.
