India is among 51 countries to sign the “Rome Declaration” on “Achieving Self-sufficiency in Safe Blood and blood products based voluntary non-remunerated donation”. Blood is an intrinsic requirement for health care and proper functioning of the health system. National AIDS Control Organization under Department of Health and Family Welfare has been primarily responsible for ensuring provision of safe blood for the country since 1992. National Blood Policy 2003 reiterates firmly the government’s commitment to provide safe and adequate quantity of blood, blood components and blood products.

However, in India, a needy patient or his relatives have to run from pillar to post in search of blood and the onus of procurement of blood still lies with the patient and not with the service provider.

Suggestions are invited on how to develop a nationally coordinated and well networked blood transfusion service in the country and reach 100% voluntary blood donation to enable us to meet the global goal of self sufficiency in blood and blood products.

voluntary blood donation camps are often organised but blood when is required is not avialable . donated blood sometimes becomes so old to use. so it is always better that in nearby areas so many persons with their phone no are registered so that they can be called whenever required in emergency.that is a better solution

I think more seats should be created for medical pg students.. There's no point on creating doctors who study ug in india but go to other countries for pg studies..our country creates the highest no of doctors and the highest no of doctors from our country go abroad..in a huge population of ours we need more doctors..

physical exercises should be promoted and for that gyms should be subsidized and all the taxes levied on them should be waved off so that more and more people should go to gyms and maintain their health . luxury tax as well as service tax should be waived off from gyms . all over the world there are no taxes on gyms and health club where as in india there are many taxes on health maintenance . i am very glad that our respected prime minister shri narender modi himself is a fitness freak

Blood donation camps are a great way to motivate more and more doners. Such camps should be regularly organised at offices, universities, hospitals, etc. since blood donation can be done every three months, at least three camps should be organised in a year at each such places. The benefits of donation should be emailed to the past doners also intimating them of the next camp at their location. After each donation the Doner should be given an attractive Badge indicating the no of donations made

Continued... So you should make the teachers job attractive, competitive,by -extending cet exam for other bachelor degrees with medicine and engineering -providing teachers a good salary comparable to government doctors -raising quality of government schools and colleges - appointing lecturers based on their merit and putting cut off to it -Providing them a good technical infrastructure I hope you consider these suggestions.I dream there will be hard struggle to be a teacher one day.

To lead India, primarily we need a strong "guru". I mean, quality of todays teachers is going down. Todays youth should attract towards lecturer , teacher post rather than attracting towards medical and engineering. Shikshak and sainik are the main coponents of a nation which reflects the culture and strength of a nation. Todays youngsters are more attracting towards medical and engineering because these are profession which gives them economical surity for their next whole life.
