The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) sent a reference dated 22nd August 2019, seeking recommendations of TRAI on reserve prices for 283 cities (260 new + 23 existing), under FM Phase-III Policy.

Accordingly, this Consultation Paper has been prepared to seek the comments/views of the stakeholders on the issues related to estimation of the reserve prices for auction of FM Radio channels.

As part of the consultative process, the Consultation Paper has been uploaded on the TRAI website. Written comments on the consultation paper are invited from the stakeholders by 6th November 2019. Counter-comments, if any, may be submitted by 13th November 2019.

FM radio is the choice of millions of Indians (world) Used by poor/reach , young /old, women /men, morning /night etc. no barriers; just enjoy: anytime anywhere with minimum resources.

This FM Radio it is good for the oldest peoples they can listen old songs and they can adjust the volume also. It can't be Auction.

Radio has been used from ages.It was used before the tv came into existence.Radio was invented by Marconi.Radio waves travel through long distances.Listening is a good habit for all of us.Listening increases and boasts your brain.Also,radio can be heard from far away.They tell everything in the radio like, entertainments, news, music, sports.We need not sit in front of the tv screen for hours and harm our eyes. Grandmothers or grandfathers can listen to their all time favorite old music's.

radio is the best way to publish and news and information and boardcast in all over the world in the technology world everywhere reach the radio signal and pass the information on this way no one stop the frquence and make the better world and helping eachothe and it is very usefull for the evreyone and all one reaching the radio and hear it

Can we make a policy where every Indian citizen will get FM radio through ADHAR linked number after attaining age of 18. through PDS system? If this is possible this will be wide spread connecting net between Indian government and Indian citizens. Government will be connected with all citizens every time. A new horizon of communication will develop. Govt. should think over it.
