Sir, eliminating manual scavenging has become the need of this hour as it not only hampers the dignity of a person but the extent of humiliation faced by them is unimaginable...Unemployment is the main cause which drags one into such works...If employment opportunity is made available to them and restrictions imposed on hiring people in these activities then to some extent we can control manual scavenging.

it is unfortunate our constitution do not contain following rights as FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS -- right to toilet, right to drinking water, right to electricity, right to minimum one room house, right to safety, right to skill development, right to disease free life, right against starvation. It contains absurd rights like equality, religion, minority-majority, expression, etc which are joke on poors as they do not have money to go high/supreme courts for their enforcement. let us begin a debate now.
