I believe humans in general have selfrespect. they go to the extent of beggary either if they are really hard-pressed and do not have other means. now there can be two ways to overcome this .first you make unprofitable by asking people not to give alms . the other way is by giving people employment.. I think second way is better because it is a positive concept.

Dear Sir, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan is a great initiative taken by you. I 100% agree with you that we, as a citizen of our lovely nation, should contribute towards it. But we face the problem of poor infrastructure in completing it. Lack of dustbins at public places, Public Urinals and pathetic working of MCs workers, who are getting handsome salaries for doing nothing is a problem in this way. We should have a performance monitoring system by public for giving them salary and hike in them.

like the Sansands, the Bureaucrats and senior level officers should also be asked to adopt one village every year. That should be part of their ACR and the same should be revived periodically.

These beggars can be put to some contractual work or even be admitted to some schools for skill training. Their Bank accounts should be opened under Jan Dhan.

I as a citizen of India feel helpless as there is no way I can stop beggars from sitting on public places. This needs to be stopped. People need to made aware. This is going to take years. But , a start is that we all want.

Hon'able PM Shri Narendra Modi has become my inspirational icon. He is doing a lot of hard work for the sake of country as a result our country men has started realizing the smell of good days. I want to appeal to all goverment employees working in different departments across country to perform his duty with honesty, punctuality and dedication. If our PM at age of 64 can work 15 to 18 hours a day to accomplish his task, the why we not? Lets pledge to improve the image of govt. offices.

Beggary needs to be abolished. Complaint nos. should be launched. So that, every person who witnesses beggars can call on that number and contact police force. These beggars should be taken to NGO(s) working in this field. And further actions should be taken. I, being a Delhite witness this beggary stuff everyday on every street. Every road. As you step out of a metro station, you see beggars in lines lying on the stairs. This can be stopped with the support of Police Deptt.

All subsidies should like with one gateway , it may be either adhaar/other system. Most of the subsidies now enjoying by rich people/upper middle class. Need to watch closely the all cash transaction in retail business /other business , government can recruit more employees in tax department with proper tracking system. I knew few people who earning more than 5 crore per annum never paid tax & complained in to tax department, but no response.First central government should monitor/track closely.
