Registration of Births, Deaths and Still Births in India is mandatory with the enactment of Registration of Births and Deaths Act (RBD Act), 1969 and is done as per the place of occurrence of the event. But the system for application and generation of Birth and/or Death certificate which is called Civil Registration System is facing challenges in ensuring prompt services delivery to the public.

Hence the Government of India has decided to introduce transformational changes in the system through an IT enabled backbone leading to Registration of Births and Deaths in the country on a near real time basis. The implementation of such reforms are conceived at the local level within the respective State/UT Governments who are required as per law/rules to undertake the implementation. For this purpose we have decided to leverage discussion forum to take feedback from the general public and identify key problems, assess the gaps and take suggestions on improvement of the contemporary process of registration of Births & Deaths and issue of certificates.

Following are the issues for discussion in MyGov platform:
a) What is the utility of Birth Registration? What happens if a citizen does not have Birth Certificate?
b) What is the utility of Death Registration? What happens if a citizen does not have Death Certificate?
c) How can process of birth and death registration be made so simple and important that citizens will voluntarily register birth and death occurring in their families and will also assist and educate other families to do the same?
d) Are there any issues or challenges in the current birth and death registration process? If yes what is the root-cause of such challenges? How can these issues be resolved?

Sir, make developed country by plantation of thousands kinds of trees which provide fruits , vegetables , edible oil , cereals , medicines etc. along the roads, railways, drains and canals and on the edges of agricultural farms. That will not only provide nutrition to the people but save the environment also ,enhancing biological diversity.I have illustrated many hundreds of trees and shrubs which can change the condition of the people even in desert of Rajsthan that will check the birth rate.

Certain times birth and death are manipulated , e,g. in Delhi most of the birth on paper in middle class is in march to match school admission requirement. People need to just get an affidavit. Death certificate is obtained by fraud people to defraud in property. Death data should be also with registrar of property to automatically notify the heir.

A) AS FAR AS THE UTILITY OF BIRTH REGISTRATION IS CONCERNED ITS JUST AN INSTRUMENT FOR COLLECTING DATA FOR VARIOUS PURPOSES.THERE IS NO NEED TO DO SO.GOVT CAN DIGITALIZE THE WHOLE PROCESS BY VESTING THE RESPONSIBILTY OF REGISTRATION TO THE ANGANWADI WORKERS AT VILLAGE LEVELS.AND SPECIAL CONCESSIONS CAN BE GIVEN TO THEM FOR THIS .AS FOR AS MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS CONCERNED,SINCE MY BIRTH I HAVE NEVER USED MY BIRTH CERTIFICATE FOR ANY PURPOSE.MY MATRIC MARKSHEET IS USED FOR BIRTH DATE VERIFICATION
