Implementing smart city initiatives means change.The operating assumption has been that the top leader, having access to all the information, and having the knowledge and experience to understand what needs to be done with the information, would make the best possible decisions. Govt of india has initiated to create smart city for the welfare of the people. GIFT is also a smart city where all the basic infrastructure are available and some are to be created . the main thrush is to be given an pollution free environment and easy access to the city from the surroundings.

Gift City . India's first functional Smart City having huge potential for employment generation through its vision of International finance hub. GIFT City needs to have more inclusive development by having Residential facilities and Retail mall.al so require Multi level car parking , social facilities to customer and require wifi Zone , while entering to city .GIFT city is only smart city which has planned with smart world class utility services, to ensue that there will be minimum hindrance to city life,quality of life,, environment friendly, green cover, transport services, etc ...

GIFT CITY is the 1st SMART City of India...it is 1st Operational SMART City of India.
1.There should be a visual communication at each road junction points for city
development news and other information sharing platform.
2. Smart security should be implemented in the city.
3. Each and frequent road transport should be there for inter city transport.

GIFT city need to have more facilities for people who work here which includes; residential space, mall, recreational space, open grounds with recreation facilities, city internal transport system, easy & frequent connectivity with Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
The present facilities like Road network, AWCS, DCS & 24*7 electricity backup are state of the art.
