The man who taught us that In a gentle way, you can shake the world, beginning his new innings with his 150th birth anniversary. He has left the legacy of teachings of morality, self-sufficiency, forgiveness, non-violence and satyagraha, etc behind him. Now, as the world is rapidly developing and growing in different dimensions , there are some areas which needs to be concerned for sustainable and inclusive development .

With these pedagogies in understanding, Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti invites you here at this digital platform for an open and free flowing discussion where you can share and discuss your valuable ideas.
These ideas can be further utilized by Samiti in conducting different programmes dedicated to mark the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi.

Prophet, spiritual leader, secular saint, freedom fighter, social reformer, philosopher, healer and “Father of the Nation”—Mahatma Gandhi is perhaps the most deified political figure in modern history. Many were baffled by his masterful grip over statecraft combined with his garb of a religious ascetic—a loincloth and shawl, which he insisted on wearing even when he went to meet the English emperor in 1931.

Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi is father of country.He gave his life for india. he is nonviolence.he fought for freedom from British. His wish was to keep our country clean and neat . He was not against the religion. he was treating all the religion equal

Mahatma Gandhi was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize five times but never received the award. He was an Indian lawyer, politician, social activist, and writer who became the leader of the nationalist movement against the British rule of India. After being poor conditions of education facilities at Porbandar.

Mahatma Gandhi was a great man . He was famous for his nonvoilence . He believed in truth . He was a great social reformer . He treated all religion alike . He did not hate any caste . He did not like the caste system in India . He favoured the improvement of the condition of the women . He used to say that , " man and woman are the two wheels of the cart of society. Both are compliments to each other . He favoured the education for women . He used to say that god has made all equal .
