The ban was much required as personally it was difficult for me to drive a 2 wheeler through the roads with these autos exhausting smoke which entered straight into my nose. A very good step taken and this ban should be permanent.

The main reason behind every unsuccessful plan is that government plan didn't reach to the ground leval.
We take an example of Ganga river clean plan, why Ganga couldn't cleaned even more fund was given by government,
the reason is that the a huge fund going on decreasing before it reaches and huge bacame smaller one.
That's the reason, rich becoming more rich and poor gets poorer.

Well,it's a good step taken to keep the city beautiful healthy and clean. But the administration should promote e-rickshaws at a big level which will not only help in controlling pollution, but also give employment to these auto drivers. Schemes should be made so that they would be able to purchase these e-rickshaws easily with less financial pressure i.e. low of cost . This step should be taken simultaneously with the ongoing campaign. Will be good for both environment and auto drivers.

This is very great step taken by the Chandigarh Administration to ban the Diesel autos. They creates air pollution and also the make cause of traffic jams. They are also the cause of accidents. I have suggested that auto drivers should be get road safety training. Regular checking of autos should be done by the Chandigarh administration. If we want to get smart Chandigarh, let makes the efforts for pollution free City Beautiful.
