The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources. India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica. Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP. For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower. Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Hon'ble PM the best development of skills in mining Sector is the Mixed Education System i.e class room environment for what to do and do not, safety guideline, materials and Quality Issue etc with job oriented training in mining places and apprenticeship compulsory should govern by state govt / central govt.

govt of india should form a special agency like IB which work only for the nri's specially those who are in gulf countries because of recent isis incident that will help them to get to know about the future calamity to anticipate the future crisis that is going to take place in that country & this work should be done secretly by that agency under the MEA and that agency should responsible only to the PM plz kindly take a note on this (BHARAT MATA KI JAI)

dear sir, agr aap hr family k atleast ek member ko job provide krwayen, then m damn sure ki atleast chori(stealing), dketi(robbing) k cases to bnd(abolish) ho jaenge... qk koi b insaan is duniya me thief(chor) bnkr peda(born) nhi hota, agr vo chor bna to is duniya me aane k baad hi bna, nd the reason behind is he/she doesnt hv a source of income nd they wr became umployed n yehi rsn h ki wo glt kdm uthaate hain or aesa krte hain,,, so agr sbko kaam(job) milega to koi b aesa kaam na krenge

I think the skilled individuals, they got better opportunities in other countries but not here because of reservations. We have to give reservations for girls/womens but not cast wise. If we give cast reservations we lost talented people. In my personal, thats true i saw few members also

If street lights are found switched on during day time. Municipal Commissioner should be empowered to suspend the Executive Engineer if the lapses recur three times in a month. Stern action against erring officials will curtail & thus save power consumption, street light should be switched off at 5 A.M sharp. The authorities should invite such complaints on sms. Such actions may curtail cost of share in transmission losses imposed on innocent consumers by the Electricity Board

It's not a question of either /or.. both classroom and practical knowledge are essential. Try to rope in staff of mining companies while imparting training.. Include safety, first aid as part of curriculum. Keep the course as short as possible.. If you lengthen it unnecessarily, company may see it as a of its manpower.
