The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Classroom can be a great tool if it is supported with audio-visual animation and followed by training. major drawback in class room is lack of interest of learners in instructor or method of instruction, learners are more active in visual animation, stories and innovative techniques. Degree diploma is a forceful way to accept talent, it wont improve productivity. we should have to think more about practical study. A documentary can easily seen and understood by all, but not by reading itself

Skill are necessary in any field and for that practicle work is needed.when student are watching movie ,they can remember it whole in first time only but while studying he get problem.similarly doing any thing practicaly is far more better than studying it theoritically. The one major problem in India student is lack of confidence. They can present themselves properly. Also their surrounding environment."sangat ka asar to hota hi hai"
