Sir,
My views are on strengthening vocational education and skill development at school level. We talk about India’s demographic dividend. However, this dividend can not be on offer for an indefinite period. Therefore, we should learn from the countries having strong foundation in vocational education, like Germany, Japan & China. We can do two things:-
1. Start Vocational Education from class 9th onwards.
2. Nearest Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) should open their campus /full-fledged

For developing skill in any field including that for Mining; People who know reading and writing in English are to be given 6 months on the job training on use of tools, tackles, safety appliances, operation/maintenance of equipments. For the illiterates, first 6 months is to be utilized for learning reading and writing and during the next 6 months the above said training is to be imparted. Physical fitness, aptitude is the pre requisite. Age and certificate should be no bar.

The condition of teachers is very deplorable in the education sector. Unless we lure in the right talent who can groom the next generation, our education sector will not progress.

As you are planning to gain in Delhi, J&K, Bihar and UP, I feel you are loosing the Gujarat bastion. After your departure things have gone a bit cosy and comfy. In Ahmedabad, the municipal elections are round the corner and I assure you that even if BJP wins, the margin of votes will go down. Reason: The basic amenities are suffering. e.g. Resurfacing of Roads... Street Lights...
Please treat this as an early sounding call...
