The Khadi segment is altogether a separate form of building clothing for the Nation for long. We need to fuel this segment with maximum available resources by erecting new plants in rural areas themselves, encouraging various forms of clothing from banana trunk, sugar cane waste, and many others. People are willing to avail products in those areas, all that is price. We need to work on attractive pricing with the latest designs. The planning department should encourage more products into the market with a wider reach by throwing away mass-produced products and replacing them with manual work. Khadi plays a major role in this replacement, and it is encouraged by everyone, too.

Amendments in the Khadi and Village Industries Commission Act, 1956
The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) Act of 1956 has long served as a cornerstone for promoting rural self-reliance and traditional industries in India. Over the years, amendments to this Act have been introduced to modernize its framework, enhance its effectiveness, and align it with contemporary economic and social goals.
📜 Historical Context
KVIC was established under the Act of 1956 as a statutory body to plan, promote, and organize the development of khadi and village industries. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of self-sufficiency and rural empowerment, the Commission has played a pivotal role in generating employment and preserving indigenous crafts.Impact of the Amendments
These changes have had a significant impact on rural development:

The amendments to the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) Act, 1956 are a crucial step toward modernizing India’s rural economy and empowering millions of artisans. Originally framed to promote self-reliance and traditional craftsmanship, the Act now requires reforms to align with digital, economic, and environmental changes. The proposed amendments aim to strengthen transparency, efficiency, and inclusivity by promoting digital governance, skill development, and easier access to finance for rural entrepreneurs. They emphasize sustainable and eco-friendly production methods, renewable energy use, and eco-conscious marketing of Khadi products. By connecting traditional artisans with e-commerce, startups, and modern design innovations, these reforms will help expand market access both in India and abroad. Moreover, the amendments focus on empowering women, youth, and marginalized communities while ensuring better coordination between central and state agencies.

At the time of KVIC enacted , traditional cold pressed edible oil producer (bull driven instead of electric motor) got concession like exempt of tax upto Kg 100 of seeds per daby y.They were exempted sales tax.Such amendment would be necessary.
Now , people brought 100 empty tins (capacity Kg 15) vehicle must bring evidences ,,,,,gst officials asked bill ,,,,,,,
Goods vehicles affected both by police and gst or cess officials,,,,,,
Other thing, traders got notice from gst officials in rural areas in order to to show genuine their filings. Each traders file history gst through his auditor,,,,,Traders may confused ,,,
So these things would be solved smartly,,, very nice
