Amendments in the Khadi and Village Industries Commission Act, 1956

Start Date :
Oct 22, 2025
Last Date :
Nov 22, 2025
17:45 PM IST (GMT +5.30 Hrs)
To institutionalize the development of the Khadi and Village Industries sector, the Government of India first constituted the All India Khadi and Village Industries Board in 1953. ...
I strongly support an amendment to create a dedicated digital marketplace, managed by KVIC, to boost sales and brand recognition for certified khadi products.
Additionally, I hope the amendments will address the welfare of artisans by establishing clear guidelines for fair wages and providing social security benefits.
these gramdyog was helping for the poor people
these gramdyog was helping for the poor people
mahatma gandhiji was established the khadi 🇮🇳 gramdyog in Sabarmati ashram of Gujarat and then he was weiveing the khadi by charakas with nation song in time of freedoms in 19th century
bharat khadi udyog ke chatra me pichar raha hai . bihar ka madhubani zilla jo khadi ka kendra raha hai aaj ek bhi khadi udyog madhubani me nahi hai mano aisa lag raha hai ki gandhi ke sapne tut gaye.
The amendment of KVIC is an excellent endeavour of Govt of Inda. The initiatives have been designed by thorough indepth research work by the Ministry to boost the sustainable growth of the industry. The various inputs have been newly inducted in the forms of amendment to introduce new impetus to improve markatability and popularity among the consumers and buyers. The drastic changes have been suggested in the form design and development along with youth participation to boost the kvic as a whole. The local for vocal theme as formulated by our respected PM paves the way of development of kvic as the people are really enthusiastic now to purchase the well designed products made by kvic with spontaneity. The awareness among the consumers have really been escalated due to changes made by the Ministry for the development of this industry as a part of Vikshit Bharat initiative.
Khadi needs more adoption thru technology, to evolve stylish and low cost variants
KVIC is not aggressive in marketing, need to be more agile
Rayon and Micro fibre are fabric leaders now because of low cost . Khadi needs to find a way out wrt variance and cost
Khadi must be adopted as School Uniform for all public and private schools - Necessary amendment to be carried out in the act
