Round-3 of the Smart City Challenge. Allahabad Nagar Nigam invites ideas, suggestions and comments to make Allahabad a “Smart City”.

AllahabadMunicipal Corporation (AMC) propose to re-engage with citizens and community groups (including prominent citizens, students, women’s groups, industries, NGOs) to understand key pain-points and reassess the aspirations and expectations from a Smart City for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

AMC seeks to obtain feedback on the revised smart solutions for defining the vision, goals, Area-based and Pan City initiatives. The citizen engagement would lead to a meaningful envisioning exercise and identify the priority areas of physical, social, economic and institutional infrastructure.

Allahabad being a very important city Due to Highcourt, Mahakumbh, University of Allahabad, MNNIT, IIIT, Many Public Offices needs the following services 1. Better Airport connectivity to Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangaluru and Ahmedabad 2. Better roads in Old City Area, Niranjan Talkies, Chowk, Kareli, Allahpur 3. Optical fiber network connectivity 4. Cleanliness and Tree Plantation 5. Three rivers but no proper Ghats 6. LPG distribution is super corrupt 7. Bijli Chori everywhere

there should no Garbage on road .All sweepers should sweep 2 times a day and they should be monitored locality wise using remote camera. 2) All street vendors should have smart stalls and waste management system to effectively sell without littering garbage around. 3) Dial up number of all types of services like railway booking ,cleaning,laundry,repair work etc .Just dial for help and assigned technician should come to house. 4) One police patroller in each locality.

- Construction of flyover near rambagh railway crossing. - Relocation of stray animals like- cows, dogs, etc. to outskirts of city by constructing shelter homes for them. In this way there proper care will also be taken and they will not affect the movement of traffic. - All wastes should be segregated into different categories and then disposed accordingly to their categories. For ex- liquid wastes to be treated differently than solid. For this EXAMPLE to be taken from MYSORE.

Allahabad needs a proper airport for connectivity with other cities, flyovers needed at places of congestion. Use of solar power shall be encouraged. law and order needs to be enforced strictly.

12) Upliftment of city areas with narrow lanes .All buildings with same colour and hoardings (like lucknow hazratgunj). 13) Every locality to have world class spacious hospitals. 14)A network of watch towers in magh mela area for monitoring.

5) there should be a zoo, open air theatre,indoor theme park ,commercial airport in the city. 6) Underground parking for high congested areas.All electric wires underground also. 7) Solar panel for bus stops and street lights. 8) Best printing machines for best quality books for students. 9) Chemical engineering and fireworks control authority near Mauaima. 10 Better cottage industries for everyday items . 11)Huge ground for rallies and mass gathering in the heart of city.
