Regional Disparity or caste wise Disparity both are curse for any system, There can be a better idea to make a prosperous india by making a system in which the candidates must be judge on from which school your schooling is done. and there must be a database present to gov. that makes grading of school on which reservation or other extra benefits should be provided to any candidates .........which will definitely equalize the chances for every one , that will reduce any disparity.

each state has its own education board. This leads to disparity in what is taught and how it is taught. For example Maharashtra state board does not take 12 exam gujrat has semester system 4 board exams are taken for the class 12 results. This puts unnecessary load on students. While students studying in CBSE board have the freedom to write their answers in their own words but due bad teaching practices in gujrat students must mug up bookish answers to pass. ONE NATION ONE BOARD IS THE SOLUTION

What is Education? Why is it important? Education is provided so that infants learn the way of living, thinking & thus acting. And as they grow, they choose their field of interest, thus excelling in that field & use that knowledge to improve the society & technology. However in our education system, there are many inequalities which need to be detached. It starts from the basics. Please take some time in reading the attached files & Kindly give your valuable suggestions for improving the same.

In my view one subject/course 'Character Building' should be added from 1st to 10th class. The students will learn from begining of student life National character and moral character which the present generation is not taking care.Motivational programmes and certifications will create interest in the subject.

For reducing regional disparity, (i) we urgently need a system of accurate, precise, updated and dynamic database of higher education. Existing system of higher education Database in our country is inadequate.(ii) Long term planning need to be infused in all levels of higher education (iii) Colleges and Universities must be engaged with schools and local employment requirements (iv) micro planning and GER at Village, tehsil, District and state level, (v) total revamp of AISHE, are suggested.

To see the present scenario of education policy, guardians of medium and lower class students have become fade up with old policy of reservation in education system. As per my view reservation in education should be for economically backward students only not for SC and ST basis. Specially in Medical and engineering entrance examination it is seen that lower rank SC/ST categories students are getting admission whereas students of general caste who gets more marks then them not getting admission.

I may be wrong but it seems foreign organizations may be spreading their propagandas through providing basic education facilities in North-Eastern states of India. So I hope North-Eastern states should be provided with maximum possible number of Kendriya Vidyalayas. It would definitely help in bringing this region in mainstream India.

Education policy must be light and effective syllabus. Kids read too much of Physics, chemistry, biology which they have to study in college. We need learn our Indian and local history. Indian rules and laws taxes in India.. how to pay tax..How to vote.. how to write resume.. how to be a good communicator..how to do banking.. how to apply loans.. how to manage money... All these must become a part of high school syllabus.

Dear JOYANTA CHAKRABARTY,( in this forum post)..Good.. Pl look at the IITs now. They are Banyan trees. I mean it. Let us work more towads strengthening our basics. we have to care more at the schools now. There are enough number of Engineering Institutions in our country. let us look for making them as the centre of excellence. Please go around and have a visit at schools of villages. We should not have a system with fundamental weakness. Let us focus on schools now and work for next 10 years.
