1: Fire Extinguisher in each coach 2. Smoke/Fire detection system in coach which will alert the LP/ALP in case of fire so that he can stop the train immediately. 3. Strict fine for people carrying such things and also for people who smokes in train.

why indian railway cant make profit? please make the rules hard so that not even a single person can travel without ticket, follow the ticket checking system same as that of in metro station. More over the no of gen & sleeper compartment is to be increased & fare for AC(hire) classes to be raised. Reduce the no of reserved quota. Provide more no of manual ticket booking machine so that in emergency requirement people need not to go to counter directly can obtain ticket from machine

Everything is banned, yet some people goes to the door side and smokes, no one has the courage to mess with him. Even in A.C coaches this things happens. Nobody asks them to through the bidi or cigarettes. Not a single railway personnel stops them (except some T.T.Es) but, after he goes, people again starts their work. To stop them what you can do is keep eye on them. Keep cameras, it is necessary. It may get stolen, but we do not have any other option.

As per current Railway Rules the Monthly Session Ticket are allowed to only up to 150 KM. But in today's Super Fast Trains provide services to commuters to travel return trip of more than 150 km in a day. So this limit should actual be removed to facilitate more Session Ticket Holders which will help to increase revenue to Indian Railways and Facility to consumers.

I have travelled on Indian railways for last 70 years ,in all classes. What I feel is that the country is not under developed nor developing . It is the 90% people are under developed and not developing. You can get the best railways in the world for India., til the people know how to maintain them is not known ,they will deteriorate in noo time. Let us first become fit enough to make use of bullet trains. I am watching the TV show on various trains.
