Cybercrime Awareness Campaign 2026
A Nationwide Cybercrime Awareness Campaign by CyberDost (I4C), Ministry of Home Affairs, in collaboration with MyGov, aims to promote cybercrime awareness and safe online practices. As people across India increasingly use digital platforms for learning, communication, entertainment and financial transactions, awareness of cybercrime and safe online practices has become more important than ever.
The Cybercrime Awareness Campaign 2026 is a nationwide initiative to promote cybercrime awareness among citizens of all age groups. The initiative aims to empower citizens with practical knowledge and skills to identify online scams, protect their personal information, secure their digital accounts and respond responsibly to cyber threats, contributing towards a safer and more cyber-secure India.
Through interactive quizzes, real-life scam scenarios, cyber safety tasks, creative challenges and a digital pledge, participants will learn how to recognise common cybercrimes, including UPI fraud, phishing, digital arrest scams, romance scams, fake job offers, OTP fraud and social media-related threats.
Citizens are invited to participate, test their cyber safety knowledge, complete practical safety tasks, spread awareness among family, friends and communities, and inspire others to adopt safer digital practices.
Take the Challenge. Spot the Scam. Secure Your Digital Life.
