India hosted the World Dairy Summit 2022 (WDS 2022) by International Dairy Federation at Indian Expo Centre and Mart, India Exposition Mart Limited, Greater Noida. The conference was organised from 12th September 2022 to 15th September 2022. Theme for the WDS 2022 was “Dairy for Nutrition & Livelihood”. IDF WDS 2022 summit opened gates for all the IDF member countries as well as other countries across the world, for networking and cross learning which goes a long way and brings out efficiencies, effectiveness and sustainability across the dairy value chain. This event was one of the important international events for the dairy sector across the world.

On Golden Jubilee of Postal Index Number (PIN), the Department of Posts conducted a Quiz from 1st October to 7th October 2022, which is an outreach effort to build awareness in citizens about the products and services of Department of Posts specially to encourage the use of PIN code. The quiz aim was to sensitize the participants about the various schemes and initiatives of Department of Posts.

A Logo Design Competition was organized on the MyGov platform for suggesting a Logo for the “Puneet Sagar Abhiyan”. This contest was open to all the citizens of India and was live from 23rd August 2022 to 10th September 2022. Ideas were invited from people to design and suggest the logo for the campaign.

During National Postal Week 2021, the Department of Posts held a contest on “Share Images of your Treasured Letters and Postcards along with the memory behind them”. The first 75 entries fulfilling the Terms and Conditions stood a chance to win a personalized giveaway. The contest was held from 9 October, 9 AM till 16 October, midnight.
