“Desh ke Utsav” was an initiative by the Ministry of Tourism to work towards listings of Events and festivals along with Live Darshans of India. Under the Utsav campaign, the Ministry is adopting the feature of sharing the gratitude and joy of festivals and events across the country. The Contest for Sharing Videos Showcasing your Families, Friends or other groups enjoying Festivals and Events was organized by the Ministry of Tourism on MyGov as an initiative to spread awareness and take steps towards saving our culture and spread them across the country.

As a part of Independence Day Celebrations, 2022, an online quiz competition on the subjects of “Desh Ke Utsav” was conducted by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in collaboration with MyGov to spread information about festivals and fairs of India among children, youth and masses. The Desh Ke Utsav Quiz was hosted from 24th August 2022 to 31st December 2022. received the response of 55,729 participation from the users.
