After completion of round –I for review of Smart City Proposal of New Town Kolkata and GAP identification and revised strategy formulation for bridging the gap and for up-gradation of proposal through citizen consultations, now to finalize and develop the implementation plan citizen engagement will be held between 31st March 2016 to 5th April 2016.
Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) and Dehradun Municipal Corporation (DMC) were jointly conducted various activities as a part of comprehensive Citizen Engagement for a Smart City Mission.
The Union Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Government of India recently released a list of 23 cities, which included Panaji, which have been invited to revise and fast track their Smart City proposals for submission before 15th April 2016.

Faridabad has been shortlisted as one of the fast-track cities shortlisted for Smart City initiative by Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD), Government of India.
